Frequently Asked Questions

Our ideal number of campers is 20. We offer four different camps of 1 week each at Crescent Private School. Our class is offered from 9 am to 4 pm daily.
This year, our summer coding camp will be held at Crescent Private School which is located at 2365 Bayview Ave, North York, ON M2L 1A2. The nearest intersection is Bayview and Lawrence. Free parking is available if required. Please note, that although this is a private school, our camps are open to the public.
The camp instructors are college and university graduates with a proficiency in computer science and computer programming. Each instructor will have to pass a police background. They will all receive training in how to work safely with children, and how to ensure that the children are safe. At least one person on site at all times will have CPR certification.
Although we are a coding camp and the use of a computer is paramount to learning, we have a healthy balance between computer science concepts and practical hands-on activities and building in a fun and dynamic way. Our camp is one the best investments you will make for your child. We know that time is one of the most valuable commodities, so with our help, your child will be able to program and solidify their understanding and skills in a week to two weeks time!

Cadaba is as peanut-free as we can make it. At Crescent school, being peanut free is a high priority. In the case of a camper being anaphylactic, we encourage parents to inform us of any severe allergies and epi pens must be given to us at the beginning of the camp.
We do not offer a lunch to our campers. However we encourage all campers to bring a nutritious lunch and snacks, which are peanut free and that do not require refrigeration or the use of a microwave.
We encourage all of our students to bring their own laptop. This is to ensure that they can participate fully in the program and be able to develop and create efficiently. We do not have a preference of what type of a laptop a student should bring, so long that it is in working condition. This means any laptop that runs Windows, Mac or Linux is acceptable and appropriate.
